This is our 104th year of family trading this coming Christmas, and the dawn of our 105th year. The world famous New York Times included our gallery in their list as one of the very best places to visit in the UK when travelling to Europe from America. Our January 2025 New additions have already started by a historical family collection of swords that includes a Shingunto sword presented at the surrender of Japan's negotiations, to a British General in Rangoon on 28th August 1945, by Lieutenant General Takazo Numata with Lieutenant Colonel Morio Tomura, on the orders of Field Marshal Terauchi (also a cousin to his sovereign the Emperor Hirohito). This is not just a sword surrendered at the end of the war, by an officer, but actually from the official negotiated surrender of Japan!. From the Emperor's representative, to General MacArthur's representative. They {the entire collection} are now all in the workshop for artisan conservation, cleaning and hand polishing. This fabulous collection has just been sold in its entirety { within just one hour of our announcement of its arrival} to one of our most valued, regular American collectors of highly rare and significant historical pieces.

We have had arrive here recently, some more really wonderful, original pieces of history.
